Welcome

Welcome

Thank you for coming to the historic graveyard of Old Pine Street Presbyterian Church. It’s one of very few remaining churches and graveyards from America’s colonial past. It is also distinctive for having the graves of 285 Revolutionary War veterans, plus the remains of other patriots and notable Americans. This small graveyard is filled with the bodies of more than 3,000 people, most of who were buried between the time of the church’s founding in 1764 until just after the end of the Civil War in 1865.

The Old Pine Conservancy, an independent, secular 501(c) (3) organization, makes these audio tours possible. Our mission is to help preserve the graveyard and educate the public about the people here. The Old Pine Conservancy’s web page is at oldpineconservancy.org.

To aid your visit, a map for this tour is available by clicking on the map icon at the bottom of each segment.
